Relay for Life challenge 2011

There was a presentation to the Glenbrook /Lapstone and Katoomba Leura Rural Fire Brigades for their participation in the annual Relay for Life (The largest Fund Raiser for Cancer Research by the Cancer Council) that takes place every year.

These guys and girls gave up a day to showing their skills in a tug of war and other events against other teams.

Glenbrook/ Lapstone showed their skill and strength by taking out all of the prizes, kindly donated by Ken Shaw Fire protection and First Aid Supplies.

Both Brigades have thrown down the challenge to other Blue Mountains Brigades to challenge them at the next Relay in October 2011.
